Practice Areas for Los Angeles Clients

EB-5 Investor Visas. EB-5 is a federal program, so where you live in Southern California does not change the process. H&H Law has processed 2,000+ EB-5 petitions. See EB-5 Investor Visa and E-2 vs. EB-5 for Korean investors.

Employment-Based Immigration. H-1B, L-1, PERM labor certification, EB-1, EB-2 (including National Interest Waiver) and EB-3, for professionals and the Los Angeles employers who hire them. See Employment-Based Immigration.

Family Immigration. Petitions for spouses, parents, children and siblings, with timelines read from the monthly Visa Bulletin. See Family Immigration and Marriage Green Card 2026.

Naturalization. Form N-400 eligibility review and interview preparation. See Naturalization and U.S. citizenship for Korean nationals.

EB-5 for Los Angeles Korean Investors

EB-5 is a federal program, so living in Los Angeles County does not change the rules. The minimum investment is $1,050,000, or $800,000 for a project in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA). Whether the lower amount applies depends on where the project is located, not where you live, and you can invest in a qualifying project anywhere in the United States. Investment amounts are scheduled for an inflation adjustment on January 1, 2027; the applicable minimum generally depends on when the petition is filed. See the 2027 EB-5 increase and EB-5 costs and processing times.

Many Korean investors in Los Angeles are already in the U.S. on E-2, H-1B or L-1 status. If you are eligible to adjust status, filing Form I-485 together with the EB-5 petition may allow you to apply for work and travel authorization while the case is pending. USCIS also expects a documented path for the invested funds; Korean bank, tax and property records need certified English translations. See EB-5 source of funds for Korean investors. We review a project's offering documents with you before you commit capital.

How Los Angeles Clients Work With Us

Most matters begin with a consultation by video or phone, or in person at our Santa Ana office. Documents can be reviewed in Korean, and most case work is handled electronically. Note that USCIS schedules interviews at the field office that serves your ZIP code, so Los Angeles County residents are generally interviewed at a USCIS office in Los Angeles County, not in Santa Ana. Check your appointment notice and the USCIS field office locator.

Why an Immigration-Only Firm

Immigration law changes quickly — USCIS policy memoranda, Visa Bulletin movement and fee rules can change a case's strategy mid-stream. Because H&H Law practices immigration law exclusively, our attorneys track these changes as part of daily practice. Korean-language resources: LA 카운티 한인 이민 변호사 (한국어) · 한국어 페이지.
